Internal Client Audits
At Gas Advisory Services we visit the designated offices of the client or those of the contractor and undertake an independent audit of the Housing Management's Quality Assurance Procedures, relating to contractors records and the Landlords Gas Safety Certificates.
The certificate audit will cover such areas as:
Legality
To ensure compliance with the Landlords legal responsibilities
as in accordance with the Gas Safety (installation and
use) Regulations 1998 (section 36 refers).
Essential
As required in respect of detailed appliance information relating
to the technical aspect of the submitted certificates.
Desirable
Detailed information of a non-legal or technical nature that
could be provided by the service engineer visiting the property and would
be deemed useful for future identification and point of reference.
In addition to the above a full health check of the gas safety management policy/procedures can be undertaken to ensure that our Client is undertaking the Health and Safety responsibilities in a dutiful and robust manner.
On completion of the health check a comprehensive report is provided to
highlight areas of strengths and weaknesses in line with Housing Management
best practice and those key areas of concern as noted by the audit commission.
