Gas Advisory Services would like to bring to your attention that there are many legal regulations which sholud be observed whilst carrying out Gas installations and services. There are certian requirements that need to carried out at regular intervals.

THE LAW Regulation 36 of the Gas Safety (Installation & Use) Regulations 1998 places strict statutory obligations on all Landlords to carry out annual safety checks on all of their gas appliances and associated equipment.

The law requires that anyone who works on gas appliances must be competent, and if they are doing the work as a business, i.e. employer or self-employed, they must be Gas Safe registered. An installer's Gas Safe ID card has details of the types of appliances that an installer is trained to work on.
